Big sisters

It is so cute how much Cadence idolizes her big sister. I can't wait to meet my very own big sister for the first time. Cathrine and her son Oscar will be meeting up with us in 2 weeks in Maryland while we are on vacation. She lives in Denmark, but she is spending 10 days in the states visiting with our dad. I'm so excited to meet them!

Fun With Grover

Most of Cadence's days are spent watching big sister Dakota participate in various activities. Once Dakota starts Kindergarten, it will be Cadence's turn to go to her own rec center classes, but for now she really doesn't mind tagging along. On this particular day, Cadence and I were watching Dakota in her ballet/tap class. I decided to take some pictures of Cady and Grover playing around in the kiddie waiting area.

Woo Hoo!!!

Grover got wrapped up in his blanket. I love how Cadence is holding him like a baby.

Holding Grover up to the window to see the boys playing basketball.

Air Grover!

Dakota joined in on the fun after class was over.

Best buddies :)

Hula Sleeping

One of the things I love most about Cadence is her ability to fall asleep in unique places. One of these days I am going to have to incorporate several crazy sleeping pictures into a collage or slideshow. Tonight's sleeping spot of choice was inside the hula hoop on the middle of the living room floor surrounded by her toys. Awww!

The 17th of May

Norwegian Independence Day! Every year our family celebrates the 17th of May with the Norwegian Society of Texas. This year Trey and Dakota missed out on the festivities since Dakota had a birthday party to attend. Cadence and I enjoyed the afternoon in Ferris, Texas where the Moores own a big piece of land and a cabin to host the party at. We dined on hot dogs and numerous side dishes, played a few games, and Gurli led a parade.

Bestefar, Cadence and Freida :)

Isn't this a cool swing! I just LOVE this picture.
